The first Thursday of the month

The Something New Show is your monthly dose of new somethings.

Making home in the Bailiff Bar’s Holding Cell, Casino Improv host a cabaret of spoken word, poetry, improv, comedy, music, storytelling and more.

Each show features 2 very special guests – a poet and a comic. Every show also has an open mic section. Bring something to share or just enjoy the show.

The Second Thursday of the month

Join us for Wigan’s longest running and most successful poetry open mic – in conjunction with Write Out Loud. We welcome established poets and newcomers alike to a friendly and supportive night of words.

Whether you’re a political ranter, romantic, serious or comic poet, whether you rhyme or not everyone is welcome at Open Mic Night!

Traitor Games

The Third Thursday of the month

Come to The Holding Cell for another night of Intrigue, Logic and Betrayal. We will be playing Blood on the Clocktower a bluffing game enjoyed by 5 to 20 players on opposing teams of Good and Evil, overseen by Storyteller Ian Hayles.
